Central Desert Regional Council has 9 service delivery centres - Anmatjere, Atitjere, Engawala, Lajamanu, Laramba, Willowra, Yuelamu and Yuendumu.

The Northern Territory Government Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics is responsible for administering the Northern Territory Planning Scheme which covers developments within the Council region, outside of communities.

Subdivisional Guidelines

Council has a subdivision and development guideline that should be used by anyone wanting to develop or redevelop property within the Central Desert Council communities.
