Central Desert Regional Council manages and offers commercial accommodation to contractors and other authorised visitors to communities in the Central Desert region.
Accommodation Locations
Atitjere (Harts Range)
Our Atitjere visitor accommodation is located on Quartz Street which is a 3 minute walk from the Council office at Atitjere. The room comes with a single bed and shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Laramba
The Laramba visitor accommodation is situated towards the entrance of the town on Staff Road. This single bed en-suite room comes with a shared kitchen. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Lajamanu
The Long House at Lajamanu is located on Kiwinyi Cr, which is a 5 minute walk from our Council office. The accommodation comes with shared kitchen, living space and toilet. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Nyirripi
The accommodation at Nyirripi is on the outskirts of town in a quiet area. The visitor’s accommodation has a sit-out area with the shared kitchen, shared toilet and laundry facilities separated from the bedroom but in the same lot. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Willowra
The visitor accommodation is a 2 minute walk from the Council office and the single bedroom dongas are furnished with a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom and living room. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Yuelamu
The single bed en-suite rooms come with a shared kitchen area and is located about 3 minutes away from our Council office. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Yuendumu
The Yuendumu Guest House is on the main road in town and is located opposite the Nguru Walalja Store. We have single-bed rooms as well as a double bed room that forms part of the guest house with the kitchen, toilet and living space all shared with other guests. Occupants are required to bring their own bed linen and toiletries.
Conditions
- Our Rooms are un-serviced and we do not provide food at any of our locations.
- Visitors are required to bring their own bed linen, pillow and toiletries.
- 48 Hour Cancellation notice is required or a one night cancellation fee will apply. Failure to inform us regarding cancellation will also adhere to a one night 'No Show' charge and cancellation of the entire stay. We require an email notification to be sent through to the appropriate community if unreachable via phone.
- Check-in can be done between 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and check-out by 10:00 am on the departure day.
- Possession, consumption and sale of alcohol in all of our accommodations which are located on Aboriginal land is prohibited. Visitors are required to respect our accommodations as alcohol-free premises.
- Entry permits to visit and stay in communities are required. These are issued and managed by the Central Land Council on behalf of communities in the region: www.clc.org.au/permits.
