White Ribbon Day is an international day of observance dedicated to preventing violence against women and girls. In Australia, it is held on November 17, the anniversary of the assassination of three sisters who were political activists in the Dominican Republic.
White Ribbon Australia was established in 2007, and since then has worked to end men’s violence against women through Primary Prevention Programs and advocacy.
The CDRC Work, Health and Safety and People and Culture teams presented to the staff to create awareness on the topic.
CDRC is committed to creating a workplace that is free from violence and discrimination. Gender-based violence is a complex issue, and everyone has a role to play in creating a more just and equitable society.
Together, we can create a safer and more respectful community for everyone.
